ما زالت السماء تتكلم العربية:

هناك العديد من نجوم السماء ما زالت الى عصرنا الحاضر تحتفظ باسمائها العربية الاصل، حتي في اهم الاطالس الفلكية العالمية ما زالت تقرأ بالعربية و تكتب بأحرف لاتينية تخليدا و تكريسا لانجازات العرب في علوم الفلك فيما يلي قائمة باسماء بعض تلك النجوم مع تبيان الاسم باللغة العربية و ما يقابله بالاحرف اللاتينية بالاضافة الى المجموعة النجمية التي ينتمي إليها النجم:

Some star names may be composites of Arabic and Latin words, such as: Alula Australis (Xi UMa).
Some of the above names are still used in the sky atlases, while others are rarely used, and others are no longer used.
