The Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education for Western Asia, in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, hosted a scientific workshop on “Space Exploration and Innovation” from March 25-28, 2019. The event was held at the Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in Amman, Jordan.

The organizers brought together scientists, engineers, educators, policymakers, and local, regional, and global experts to discuss and develop ideas on global partnerships in space exploration and innovation. The workshop included strategic and capacity-building elements and aimed to leverage the efforts of entities already collaborating in the field of space exploration and innovation.
