The Jordanian Society for the History of Science is a specialized scientific association based in Amman. It is dedicated to reviving interest in the history of science and astronomy and to promoting scientific research related to these fields in Jordan and the Arab world. The Society works to highlight the scientific legacy of Arab and Islamic civilization and to document its contributions to the development of human knowledge through research initiatives and academic communication at the local, regional, and international levels.
